Esther Hamer holds an MLA in Creative Writing and English from Harvard University, a BA in Fiction Writing and Literature, and a Graduate Certificate in Editing through the University of Chicago. She’s an experienced editor and writer with three award-winning historical fiction novels published under a pen name.

Esther grew up in the wilds of northern Canada, but her wanderlust has led her to live in six different countries and explore dozens more. Currently living with her family in Toronto, Esther sneaks in time to write and edit while trying to wrangle her four children—a feat remarkably akin to herding cats.
