Michelle Morrison

Michelle Morrison explores the dynamics of love and relationships in her books. The King’s Rebel, The Last King, and A Dishonorable Knight (past winner of Best Romance at Southwest Writer’s Workshop) are passionate love stories that take place amidst the tumult and conflict of medieval England, Scotland, and Wales. Her Regency Romances include Lord Worthing’s Wallflower, The Lady’s Secret, and Lady Disdain. Her Victorian-era Romances include Lady Ordinary, and The Daring Mrs. Kent. The False Countess is scheduled for publication in 2021.

An avid reader of the romance genre, Michelle’s work appeals to the same audience that avidly follows such writers as Diana Gabaldon, Lisa Kleypas, Mary Jo Putney, and Julia Quinn.

Michelle graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of New Mexico with a degree in technical writing. She worked for several years as a contract technical editor/writer for Sandia National Laboratories and Los Alamos National Laboratories before moving on to the more exciting realm of romance writing. She has written research-based articles for a historical recreation group newsletter; is a regular contributor to internationally distributed dance trade magazines; and a contributing writer to The Belly Dance Book, published by Backbeat Press. She has also written articles for feminist online publication, Cuntism Magazine.

In addition to writing, Michelle is an editor and has edited PhD dissertations as well as several author’s books, the most recent being From the Barrio to the Boardroom by Tony Trujillo.
