Marysia Kosowski

Audiobook Team

Marysia Kosowski earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from UC Santa Barbara and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from San Diego State University. She currently teaches writing at Hartnell College in Salinas, California. She fell in love with stories from earliest childhood, when her Polish grandmother would read fairytales to her from the tomes of Andersen and the Brothers Grimm. Since then, she has never stopped reading and writing her own stories, particularly in the fantasy and sci-fi genres.

As part of Scarsdale Publishing’s audiobook team, she is dedicated to making books available and accessible to a broader readership. She is excited about the potential of books to enchant readers with tales both timeless and new. When not reading or writing, Marysia listens to music obsessively, plays various eclectic instruments, and plays a lot of video games.

Ashley Hill

Ashley Hill

Flame Acquisitions Editor

Ashley Hill has always hoarded stories like a dragon hoarding treasure, so she decided to turn her passion into a career. She earned a BA in English Literature from Bloomsburg University and an MFA in Popular Fiction Writing and Publishing from Emerson College. When her nose isn’t buried in a book, she can be found furiously scribbling on scraps of paper, napkins, and even the occasional forearm as she weaves her own stories.

I love submissions! So, if you have any, I’m ready to take them on! If you have any thrillers, fantasies, or stories with characters of color, I’d be especially interested.
